Join Shannon Coleman on her Tuscan Treat In An Exploration of Italy’s Finest Cities and their Exquisite Love of Wine Day 1 – Rome Ciao, Roma!  Upon arrival in Rome, you will check in to the Hotel Ariston.  Spend your first day in Rome exploring the city on your own.  Enjoy a delightful Welcome Dinner that evening with the group.  Day 2 – Rome After breakfast you will be picked up for a private Vatican and Ancient Rome full day tour.  Spend the evening at your leisure. Day 3 – Rome-Tuscany You will board a Deluxe Coach for your private transfer from Rome to your hotel in the village of Colle Val D’Elsa to begin your Tuscan wine and food experience. Stop at Trattoria O’Senna for a delicious lunch and extensive wine tasting led by David Hughes, an international food and wine connoisseur. After lunch, tour the wine museum and take some time to enjoy the afternoon before checking into your hotel. Day 4 – Tuscany Relish in a morning wine tour and lunch at Castello Verrazzano (The Castle of Verrazzano) overlooking Greve Valley.  The afternoon will include a relaxing tour of Siena followed by a demonstrative cooking class where you will delight in a dinner of fabulously prepared Tuscan food and wine.  Day 5 - Tuscany You will spend the morning in a visit to the small walled medieval town of San Gimignano followed by a savory 3-course lunch and wine tasting at the family Tuscan farm of Poggio Alloro.  Day 6– Colle Val D’Elsa – Florence After breakfast, your private transfer will take you to Florence where you will check in to your hotel after stopping at an olive oil factory along the way.  Feel free to explore Florence on your own, stop for some gelato, shop, or watch the Arno pass under the Ponte Vecchio during sunset.  The choice is yours! Day 7 – Florence Once you have enjoyed breakfast, admire the beautiful city of the Renaissance in a private walking tour that will include the Accademia Gallery and leather school. Spend the afternoon at your leisure then join the group for the Farewell Dinner at La Loggia Restaurant. Day 8 Florence Arrivederci! After Breakfast, prepare for your private transfer to the Florence airport.
